Select Reservation schools to receive suicide prevention funds

PABLO — Select local schools will be receiving a $3,333 monthly stipend this year, courtesy of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes’ Reason to Live Native suicide prevention program. “We wanted to make an impact on the schools that don’t have a lot of resources,” program manager Brandon Burke said. “Our goal is to improve life and education for those students.”
